Exhaust and its should come first. No reason in programming a stock car. Do your exhaust and then the intake and then see what you have left. Etx muscle cars in longview

so exhaust before intake? and i want it to sound sick so i thinking of just putting a glasspack on and doing the intake for starters and worrying about dual exhaust later...also i looked at etx muscle cars or watever and most of there products r made for an srt8, guess i shouldve spent the extra 10,000 on a bigger engine haha

MagnaFlow makes a catback exhaust for the 3.5 there are 2 different types. one is a single tip that runs close to $800. Then there is a dual exhaust tip catback system which is $1200. They dont give a horsepower number on either one. Opening up your exhaust is going to give you slight increase in power and is necessary for the total build. Like everyone said intake and exhaust are the first and easiest things to increase the performance. I suggest that if you are going to work on the engine then set out a plan and budget then slowly build the vehicle. Remember if you don't take the time to do the job properly the first time, then when are you gonna find time to fix it right?
